Saint-Paul de Vence, 2009. On his terrace in St-Paul de Vence, Dominique Hauptmann sees a new threat unfold: the tiger mosquito is invading the Côte d'Azur. With his engineer friend Gérard Benbassat, they decided to counterattack. Mission: test all the pitfalls of the global market.
The scientific revelation
Two years of experimentation reveal a disturbing truth: these devices capture, of course, but fail to protect. Why? The “CO2 corridors” extend over 70 meters. When you breathe near a trap, mosquitoes have a choice between two sources, the trap or you... and they often choose you!
